In order to determine what development is needed, questionnaires and surveys are designed and administered in which employees, anonymously, provide feedback on a number of work-related areas. The feedback obtained from the employees assist in identifying those areas of work that lead to both employee satisfaction and dissatisfaction. The following are examples of dimensions surveyed:

With this knowledge in mind, Management, together with each department, are able to put together an action plan to address the issues identified.
It is recommended that surveys and questionnaires be administered yearly with the benefit being that the Company, as well as the departments, are able to identify what changes have taken place and how employee perceptions have changed due to interventions.
An outline of the recommended process is as follows:
